THE GREENHOUSE ORGANIC RESTAURANT, St. Keverne, Cornwall - great friends and great food what more can you ask for!
THE NEW YARD RESTAURANT TRELOWARREN, Mawgan, Cornwall - we've never been disappointed with a meal here. An eco-friendly complex with gallery, craft rooms, holiday cottages and timeshares.
THE SHIP INN, Mawgan, Cornwall - excellent food in a sympathetically refurbished pub.
THE SAND BRASSERIE AT THE HEADLAND HOTEL, Newquay - good food with views over Fistral Beach and a huge roaring fire to toast yourself by after a cold winter walk.
TELEVISION
THE MIGHTY BOOSH - I can't help it, just fell for the surreal-ness of it all - bonkers.

THE BRIGHTLIGHTS - New Indie Band from Grimsby. Their latest song '3' is stuck in my head (and I still like it). Also love their video for 'Inspired By' - not too sure the tourist board for Grimsby will though as it certainly puts the GRIM back in Grimsby! It also stars Thomas Turgoose from the powerful film THIS IS ENGLAND.

SEASALT ORGANIC CLOTHING - Cornwall based company just beginning to creep into Devon as well. Bright, colourful, fun, own-label clothes and also other brands like, my favourite; Noa Noa.
WILLOW & STONE - Falmouth. One of those shops full of bits you'd really love to buy for your home.
